Fair Refund Policy

At Almanack, we believe in treating our customers fairly and providing excellent service. Our Fair Refund Policy is designed to be straightforward and reasonable for both our customers and our business.
Free Trials
For paid services that offer a free trial, we provide a clear explanation of the trial length when you sign up. During this trial period, you can explore our services without any charge. If you decide not to continue with the paid service, you can cancel before the trial ends, and you won't be charged.
Paid Services
- When you upgrade from a free plan to a paid plan, your card will be charged immediately, and your billing cycle starts on the day of the upgrade.
- For other plan changes (upgrades or downgrades), the new rate starts from the next billing cycle.
- All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. Where required, we will collect and remit these taxes to the appropriate authorities.
Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following circumstances:
- If you cancel your account within 30 days of your initial purchase or upgrade to a paid plan, you are eligible for a full refund.
- If you experience significant technical issues that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the circumstances.
- If we fail to deliver a key feature or service that was explicitly promised at the time of purchase, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not typically provided in the following situations:
- Cancellations made after 30 days from the initial purchase or upgrade.
- If you have violated our Terms of Service or Use Restrictions Policy.
- For unused time on your subscription if you cancel mid-billing cycle.
- If you're unsatisfied with the service but haven't made a good-faith effort to work with our support team to resolve your issues.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact our support team at support@almanack.ai with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Provide your account details and the reason for your refund request.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
We assess each refund request on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to be fair to both our customers and our business.
Cancellation Process
Remember, you can cancel your account at any time:
- You can request cancellation by sending an email to our support team.
- When you cancel, you can continue using the service until the end of your current paid-up month.
- At the end of the billing cycle, your account will be switched to the Free version, and you will not be charged again.
